LFPA Gilbert Curriculum

Learning Foundation & Performing Arts School is devoted to providing students with a rigorous academic and performing arts environment that embraces the whole student.

In this pursuit, our curriculum incorporates the Arizona State Department of Education Standards throughout all grade levels and subjects.  Our dedication to continuous school improvement using best practices ensures the school’s optimum management of educational programs.

Seventh through twelfth-grade classes have transitioned to Arizona Career and College Ready Standards (ACCRS) utilizing textbooks published by Holt/Rinehart/Winston for language arts and mathematics books by Holt/McDougal supplemented with Laurus Math. All programs are structured to provide seamless transition from grade to grade.

All teachers utilize supplementary resources. including novels, online resources, technology, and various other sources.  Teachers and students incorporate technology through the use of our computer lab and Smart Projectors in every classroom.  Smart Projectors are used by teachers to project visuals and connect new concepts or skills to prior learning and to aid in helping students develop technological skills that will allow them to compete in a technologically advanced society.
